Velaris was founded in 2014 by advisors who had grown tired of the product-sales culture endemic to traditional private banking. We believed clients deserved counsel that was paid for by them, and accountable only to them.

Velaris operates in partnership with AVC Advisory, a firm that provides the regulatory licences and institutional access our clients need. This collaboration allows us to combine entrepreneurial independence with the infrastructure and backing of an established organisation.
